Payments
When you’ve chosen your Dachshund and are ready to make a minimum deposit of $500 to hold your puppy or make the full payment, we are here to assist. We understand that purchasing a Dachshund is a significant decision, and we are more than willing to work with you on a payment plan that works for both parties. However, the total price of the puppy must be paid before pick-up or delivery. Please note that once a deposit is made and your name is added to the reservation list, the deposit is only refundable if the puppy is not made available to you. If you change your mind or fail to pay the remaining balance for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited unless a written agreement is approved by us due to extenuating circumstances. If the puppy you selected is unavailable, your deposit can be applied to a future litter of the same quality. The buyer will be responsible for any difference in price.
All of our puppies come with AKC registration, a one-year health guarantee, a veterinary health check, vaccination records, and will be up to date on all vaccinations. If your puppy is shipped, we will also provide a shipping kennel, health certificate, and essential supplies.
Shipping
You are welcome to pick up your puppy directly from us or arrange a meet-up at a designated location within a 70-mile radius of our home. We accept visits on weekends by appointment only. If this isn’t possible, we are happy to ship your puppy using one of our shipping options. Puppies must be a minimum of 8 weeks old before they can be sent to their new home. If you live far away and cannot pick up your puppy, we offer safe ground or air shipping options.
Ground Shipping
Ground shipping is a convenient and safe option for transporting your Dachshund puppy. If the weather is too warm for air travel or if you prefer ground transportation, we partner with a trusted pet transport company that specializes in puppies. Your puppy will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with regular stops for food, water, and potty breaks. We provide the shipping crate and other essentials. Shipping costs vary based on your location and the transport service.
Air Transportation
We have successfully shipped many of our Dachshund puppies across the country and to Canada via airlines, ensuring their safe and comfortable journey. We primarily use United Airlines’ PetSafe program, which offers climate-controlled environments and professional care for your puppy. This program includes the following features:
- Pets travel in pressurized, climate-controlled compartments, similar to passenger cabins.
- A 24-hour PetSafe desk is available for assistance.
- Pets receive personal handling in climate-controlled vehicles for connections at United’s hubs.
- You can track your puppy’s journey online.
Air shipping typically ranges from $150 to $350, and we often have shipping vouchers available for discounted rates.
VIP Air Transportation
For the ultimate peace of mind, we offer a VIP air transportation service where your puppy is hand-delivered to your doorstep by a professional puppy nanny. This ensures your Dachshund receives personal care throughout the journey. VIP delivery is available for $400, providing you with complete assurance that your new companion is in good hands
